Worlds oldest competing athlete is 102 year old Ruth Frith, won gold at the World Maters Games in 2012. She has a Order of Australia, for her contribution to Sport. For Ruth, it’s more than medals, its about sport keeping her body and mind healthy. This image has been exhibited in Basil and Los Angeles Centre of Digital Art and a copy is on permanent display at the United Nations in Genva. The interview was played on fbi National Radio. Ruth lives in Brisbane with her daughter Helen, who also has an Order of Australia and represented Australia in the 1960 & 1964 Olympics.
